Your Targeted Leads Are Utilizing The Search Engines To Find You
Statistics points out that 90% of online users utilize search engines to seek the information they are looking for. This is what makes them targeted leads. They are looking for what you have, in addition they are free if you rank high enough in an organic search (natural search result and not paid per click (PPC) results). One important component to keep in mind is search engine friendliness. Some of us network marketers sometimes create websites, blogs, articles or content with a focus on aesthetics and what they perceive as “material” to the viewer. Lots of focus is placed on making everything aesthetically good, in addition to hopefully, providing meaningful information for the visiting traffic.
And though these are vital and critical components, they are not the only components. Search engine optimization (SEO) is equally important if not more important, especially if you are looking for quality free traffic. In order for your end user (your visitors/ targeted leads) to see your website, blog and meaningful information, search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing play a serious and decisive role in placing or ranking your work, and whether or not you are seen by these targeted leads. When designing your website, blog or article content, understand that your visitors and targeted leads are searching online for something, be it a product, service or information. But also understand the search engines are looking for specific things as well. If the search engines do not find what they are looking for, your website, blog, article or content will be poorly ranked. So as a consequence, when your targeted leads are searching online for your product, service or offer, and you are poorly ranked, those targeted leads will probably not find you. They will however, undoubtedly find the product, service or offer they seek; typically from a similar website or blog, because that website or blog not only provided those targeted leads with what they were looking for, but they also provided the search engines with the information that allowed them to be ranked much higher than you.
