This Network Marketing Business Thing Is Hard!
Oh Yes it is…but not impossible. Too often people jump into a network marketing business without a plan or the correct mindset to enable their business to thrive and develop. It’s just a matter of time before they give up or claim that it was a scam or some other bogus reason why their business failed. Now don’t get me wrong, there are scams and schemes out there that will discourage and put a bad taste in peoples mouths, but that’s where doing your due diligence, planning and yes, trial and error comes into play. Yes, it may take you a few tries with different network marketing companies, different up-lines, or different products until you find the right fit. The key is not to give up! Don’t give up on yourself, your dreams or your aspirations. In part 1, this post will cover 2 of the 5 strategies that you have to know and use in order to make your network marketing business thrive, no matter what network marketing company you are with.
The five strategies you must know to make your network marketing business thrive are
1. Plan your work and work your plan for your network marketing business.
2. Differentiate yourself in your network marketing business.
3. Seek continuous improvement in your brand (YOU) for your network marketing business.
4. Keep your brand highly visible in your network marketing business
5. Touch your customers or prospects regularly / Connecting on an emotional level with your network marketing business.
Strategy Number One: Plan Your Work And Work Your Plan For Your Network Marketing Business.
As an independent distributor in the network marketing field, you have to remember that you work for yourself! So, even though the network marketing company you represent may give you some guidance or literature – aka a kit, nothing really occurs or happens until you make a plan and take action on that plan. The main element in what I just stated is making a plan. The mistake that many people make when starting a business, is they enter into business without a plan and subject themselves to eventual failure. Winners in business almost always, ALWAYS, have a game plan. Think of it like football, baseball or basketball – do you think you favorite team goes into the game without a game plan? If they did, they would lose their favorite status quite quickly. Equally important to making a game plan is executing or working the game plan. This is basically doing what you said you wanted to do in your game plan.
Strategy Number Two: Different Is Better! Differentiate Yourself In Your Network Marketing Business.
What is your best product? If someone asks me this question, generally I know and understand that they may be referring to the company I represents product – but my thinking is, my best product is me. Therefore I must always put my best foot forward. If it means going the extra mile to satisfy a customer or taking extra time out of my schedule to help someone out – I will. I know they will remember me for just those reasons! As for the product the network marketing company sells, the customer or prospect may or may not remember the company’s product, but I will ensure they remember me in a positive way. When it comes to differentiating who you are, think about your strong attributes and what sets you apart from the next person, and use those attributes to grow your business.

Though simplistic and powerful, many network marketing independent distributors neglect to use them in their network marketing business.
