Building Blocks To Creating A Marketing Strategy

Now that you have identified your target market and ideal customer or prospect (Lead), you must now create a marketing strategy that will be effective in getting the attention of your leads.  A marketing strategy can be defined as a systematic process that allows you or your company to apply your resources towards the best opportunities in order to build and sustain your business.  ***Important*** One vital and key component to your marketing strategy will be your budget.

It is crucial that you take into account your online marketing experience in relation to your budget (this is how much money, if any, you are willing to spend on your marketing strategy vs. how proficient you are marketing online).  Basically, what I’m expressing here and in my opinion, if you have little to no online marketing experience, you should focus your marketing strategy efforts utilizing free strategies such as forum marketing or free classifieds or other free ways to market, until you become proficient with online marketing.

How Do You Choose A Marketing Strategy?

Let me Frank here!  There are numerous ways to market to a potential lead especially online.  Take for example, social media marketing; there is Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, You Tube and the list goes on.  In part 2 of the Seven MUST KNOWS & Strategic Guide to Lead Generation, I will walk you through a process that will help and assist you with determining how to choose a marketing strategy.

Goals And Blending Your Short and Long Term Marketing Strategy

Your marketing strategy needs to have well defined and trackable goals, for example, how many leads would you like to have at the end of month 1 at the end of month 2 and so on… or how many articles would you like to write over a 2 month period.   The key here is to ensure you create your goals and track your results against them.  There needs to be a mix or blend utilizing your short term marketing strategy, i.e. Facebook and your long term marketing strategy, i.e. Article Marketing.

Take the time to learn and understand whatever strategic marketing combo you choose.  If you choose facebook for example; learn as much as you can on facebook marketing.  Gather information on the tips and tricks of facebook and master the marketing.  One of the biggest mistakes new network marketers make online is that they try to utilize every marketing strategy and they become overwhelm in addition to gaining zero to limited results.  Utilizing a well thought out marketing strategy and process will always get you much better results.  Visit Online MLM Strategies 2 Success to get additional information on how to effectively execute your marketing strategy!
